A great weekend of racing (July 20-22, 2018).
All athletes raced 5 times, starting with the Duathlon (1km Run, 4.5km Bike, 1km Run) & Super Sprint (500m Swim, 10.5km Bike, 3km Run) on Friday. On Saturday saw them race alumni and coaches in a fun 4 person relay (each person does an F1 Triathlon and tags the next person) and the Aquathlon (300m Swim, 1km Run). Sunday wrapped up with the F1 Draft Legal Triathlon (200m Swim, 3km Bike, 1km Run).
BC Games is the best 14-15 year old triathletes in the province. Past games triathletes have gone on to represent canada at the Olympic’s, Commonwealth Games, and at the World Triathlon Championship Series.
