9–week Session - Monday, January 4 to Saturday, March 6
- Similar schedule to the Fall EXCEPT there will be a Family Game on Friday nights for the dryland portion for KOS and YOS from 6:45 to 7:30pm.
- Parents, bring your outdoor gear and lots of energy! We will be doing a different game each week, reminiscent of “pick up sports in the local park” and end with a group stretch (for the parents, primarily haha!) at the end of each night. Everyone is invited to participate.
- Adventure Tri will do their own games and end at 7:00pm. Adventure Tri parents, PLEASE, make sure you resume supervision of your children at 7pm. The coaches are no longer responsible for the athletes following 7pm.
- We will have some NEW INITIATIVES in our teaching of respect that weave into the Olympic theme. We will let all parents know about those and how you can get your children involved in the process from week to week. More details TBA (getting excited?!)
- ***ADULT YOGA IS NOW 5:00 to 6:30 on Fridays (1.5 hours)

NOTICE REGARDING FRIDAY, JANUARY 15
- Hello everyone. As mentioned last week, the pool has their quarterly inservice on Friday so we do not have access to the pool or activity room.
- Here is the adventurous plan for the night!!
- 5:30pm MEET AT TEMP (all groups)
- *Outside by the playground
- 5:45pm
- RUN/ JOG / HOP to a local park or school for family games night (and some Olympic stats too :)
- 6:30pm
- Head to coffee shop for hot chocolate and walk back to Temp
- Please, bring money for coffee
- Everyone welcome.
- We should be back at Temp by 7:30pm
- ADULT YOGA is CANCELLED
- as the gym is unavailable - this class can be made up on Tuesdays between 5:30 and 6:30 with the youth group
WINTER SESSION DETAILS
THEME
- The Winter Olympics – get ready to learn about all 21 Winter Olympic Games, culminating in our own special event (Olympic style) on Friday, March 5.
COACHES
- We bid farewell (for a few months) to Sally who is heading home to the UK to get some injuries taken care of.
- WELCOME to Susie who will be taking Sally’s place and also helping with the Youth cycle / run on Tuesdays. Susie swam competitively in Canada and the US, coached swimming, and her partner (Mark) was an Elite cyclist and coaches as well (he helped out with a few YOS cycles this past Fall). They both participate in triathlons. Please, extend a hand and an Exceleration High 5 when you meet her!!
SCHEDULE

SATURDAYS
- …will continue to offer an outdoor bike for KOS / YOS from 10-11 and families are welcome to join in… drop in… hope to see you there! We will be throwing in some new stops (aka ice cream, hot chocolate, maybe the Olympic sights) this session on Saturdays so bring an appetite and your camera!
THE OLYMPICS
- We are going right through. May the spirit motivate us all!
SPECIAL EVENTS
- February 5 (halfway) and the final Friday (March 5).
Spring Break
- This year we will break for Spring Break (March 8-14) and the pool closes for the following two weeks.
- We will re-convene for a 12-week session starting the last week of March, bring back our bikes, and get ready for the Sunny Season.

Adventure Tri
- Ages 4-6
- Friday PM from 5:30 to 7:00
- NEW - Wednesday "advanced Adventure Tri" practice
- Swim 45 min. Change / snack 15 min. Bike-run-games 30 min.
- *Should be comfortable in shallow water (able to go under water, blow bubbles, swim a little bit!)
- *No restrictions on bike or run.
KOS (Kids of Steel®)
- Ages 7 to 12
- Choose 1 to 4 practices a week.
- Monday 5:00-6:30 (outdoor run-jump-throw and games + swim)
- Wednesday 5:30-7:30pm (outdoor bike-run-games + swim)
- Friday 5:30-7:30pm (swim + outdoor bike-run-games)
- Saturday 9-11 at Temp (swim + road ride bike (bike))

Youth
- Ages 12-19
- *Recreational or competitive options available.
- *NEW* Exceleration Elite group – individualized programs and training for youth who want to pursue triathlon at a more competitive level (aiming for BC Games and Junior level racing).

- *Choose from 1 to 7 practices a week
Adult
- Yoga (with youth) on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30pm
- Yoga (while kids swim) on Friday from 5:00-6:30pm
- Swim (while kids train) on Monday from 5:30-7:00pm
- MASTERS / TRI swim on Tues / Thurs AM from 5:30-6:30am
- *Costs are the same as kids programs (based on times per week).
